Las Lomas High School is located at the edge of downtown Walnut Creek. It is part of the Acalanes Union High School District. The school was rated by Newsweek Magazine as one of the top 1,000 schools in the U.S. at number 728 in 2003. It is a widely diverse school with a 0.7% dropout rate. It is a traditional high school with grades 9-12.
The campus is made up of many buildings with ample windows and lawn areas. The campus is lavishly landscaped and the facilities are immaculately kept.
