Browns Valley Ridge is a ridge in northwestern Browns Valley. It marks a sharp line of transition between the Sacramento Valley and the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Its elevation is 922 feet, and its prominence above the surrounding countryside is about 592 feet.1

There is a high concentration of serpentine on Browns Valley Ridge.
