Hansonville Hill is a hill about 2.5 miles east of
Rackerby. Its elevation is 2,614 feet,
1 and its prominence above the surrounding countryside is about 202 feet.
2 It is named for
James H. Hanson and the former town of Hansonville, of which Hanson was postmaster. Hansonville was later renamed Rackerby after
William Martin Rackerby, a later postmaster of the town.
