Hansonville Hill is a hill about 2.5 miles east of Rackerby. Its elevation is 2,614 feet,1 and its prominence above the surrounding countryside is about 202 feet.2 It is named for James H. Hanson and the former town of Hansonville, of which Hanson was postmaster. Hansonville was later renamed Rackerby after William Martin Rackerby, a later postmaster of the town.3
