History
The first Democratic Party convention in Denton, Texas occurred in 1888, according to the book,History and Reminiscences of Denton County by Ed F. Bates.
The current Denton County Democratic Party consists of an Executive Committee and volunteers committed to electing Democrats to public office. Meeting locations vary, per the website. The current Party office is located at 1421 N. Elm St, Suite 101, in Denton.
