The Wheatland/Beale Community Fair has been held annually since 2001. It takes place at Bear River School in Wheatland on the third or fourth Saturday in April or the first or second Saturday in May. This year it is being held on May 12, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Bear River Family Resource Center, it features craft vendors, health agencies, 4-H Clubs, live music, dance, informational booths, and food. It also features demonstrations of Kuk Sool Won and demonstrations by the Beale Air Force Base 9th Security Forces working dogs. Beale Air Force Base vehicles and equipment are displayed. A rock wall, an obstacle course, a laser tag field, and super slide are provided.
