Johann Georg Mueller (29 Dec. 1829 - 1 June 1858) was co-owner of a sawmill at the corner of Packard and Hill Streets. He died in an accident at the mill, crushed by a falling log, and subsequently dragged 80 rods (a quarter of a mile) by a team of horses that had been spooked.

His demise is memorialized in his gravestone at Forest Hill Cemetery.
