MattH is coming

Heidi Hansen is coming

BrianKerr cannot promise but wants to come. Still thinking about OddMuse style live CSS. Need to dig up links for CommunityProgrammableWiki (BayleShanks weird great idea) which is even more far-out in concept than the name implies.

Ed Vielmetti is coming, as long as the kids are asleep.

Libby Hemphill hopes to come; she also hopes to have a new wiki up by then to talk about.

November 7 starting 8:30 - 9:00pm until ??:?? at Rendezvous.

Ed Vielmetti notes from Nov 7 Wiki Wednesday

Discussions:

could we start a little later in the evening on November 7? like, evening coffee instead of dinner hour

update from SamRose (driving in from Lansing): "evening is ok 7, 8, or 9" but he has obligations earlier in the day

Howabout 9pm at Rendezvous? SamRose: works for me, thanks!

reminder: BrianKerr is supposed to let SamRose know what the plans are, once there are plans.

reminder: Patty would like to come, but can only make it after business hours

reminder: talk about New_Orleans_Wiki

reminder: check out http://socialsynergyweb.net/cgi-bin/wiki/SlWikiWednesday/FrontPage could be an idea for remote participation. This is something MarkDilley has been talking about. -- SamRose

Try to get Tozier to come. He wants to, but will have to be reminded.

(SamRose just but his close relative in the hospital, and probably won't be able to come due to overwhelming responsibilities, but may be able to attend remotely...)

Ann Arbor's Wiki Wednesday, a last minute affair, was lunchtime (the 3rd of October 2007), 12:15pm at Silvio's.

4 people in attendance for lovely pizza and conversation. Topics included:

  • Google Analytics for ArborWiki -- 'fake click' integration of revision numbers, etc., as a way to link user agents and other info to edits
  • weird spambot behavior on ArborWiki:
    • one-line nonsense word spam
    • ampersand truncator spam
    • recaptcha work Matt did, how this is helping
  • wiki-library, wiki-map, wiki-blog integrations
  • http://the-communicator.org/ versus the AA News
