HopCat is a bar in downtown Grand Rapids specializing in a world-class variety of beer. HopCat opened in January 2008.
They carry 48 beers on tap and another 150 in the bottle from both local (in Michigan) and global breweries. For the non-beer-drinkers wine and cocktails are available, as well as a wide range of whiskeys.
The cheapest beers range from 4-5 dollars, while the more expensive draft beers can top out at $13. Bottles can range from $5 to $180.
The loft itself is a dark and cozy niche with couches to lounge on.
