Start of the 2010 'Round the Mountain

The 'Round the Mountain canoe race started in 1988. The course starts in Ampersand Bay and runs down Lower Saranac Lake, down the Saranac River through the Lower Locks to Oseetah Lake and finishes at the State Boat Launch on Lake Flower. The name comes from the fact that the course circles Dewey Mountain.
