Bal Turgeon was a World War I veteran.  He was an electrical contractor who lived at 20 Petrova Avenue.

 Balzora H. Turgeon

Balzora H. Turgeon died this morning at the age of 73 at his home, 20 Petrova Ave., Saranac Lake. He had been ill a long time.

Mr. Turgeon, an electrician had lived in the area for 37 years. He was born Sept. 20, 1895 in Hammond, a son of Charles and Maude Higginson Turgeon and served in the Army in World War I. He was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors are his wife, the former Esther Mackay; two children Miss Toni Turgeon and Peter P. Turgeon, both of New York City; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Pauline) Newton, of Philadelphia, Mrs. Allan (Isabel) Hicks, of Gloucester, Va., Mrs. Lowe, (Jean) Whirling of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Constance Allen of Montreal; and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held at the Fortune Funeral Home at the convenience of the family.
