Vernon H. Jordan was a dentist.  He was a son of Wesley Jordan.

JORDAN-WASHBURN

The wedding of Dr. Vernon H. Jordan and Miss Sadie Washburn was solemnized this morning at 8:30 in the Methodist parsonage on Church street. Rev. E. B. Brownell pastor of the Methodist church performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss Lillian Woodruff and Victor Jordan, brother of the groom acted as best man.

The bride was attired in a navy tailored suit and wore a small gray hat, with slippers, stockings and gloves to match. A stone marten fur scarf, which was the wedding gift of the groom, completed the outfit. Miss Woodruff also wore a navy blue tailored costume.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Riverside Inn. Guests besides the bridal party were Rev. and Mrs. Brownell, Mrs. Jennie Washburn and Stephen Washburn, mother and brother of the bride.

Dr. and Mrs. Jordan left immediately after the breakfast on a motor trip to New York. Upon their return to Saranac Lake they will reside at 7 Charles street until the completion of their new home on Riverside drive.

Mrs. Jordon has been a resident of Saranac Lake for several years, coming from Chateaugay. She has been connected with the art needle- work department of the Homecraft shop since coming here.

Dr. Jordan was born in Saranac Lake and is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jordan. He is a graduate of the Saranac Lake high school and of the University of Buffalo. Since his graduation from college, he has been engaged in the practice of dentistry in Albany and Lake Placid. For the past several years he has been engaged in the practice of dentistry in Albany and Lake Placid. For the past several years he has had offices in Saranac Lake at 45 Broadway.—Saranac Lake Enterprise, May 2
