Sunrise Mall is located at the corner of Greenback Lane and Sunrise Blvd. in Citrus Heights. Macy's, Sears, and JCPenney are its anchors. It is also surrounded by a number of smaller shopping centers.

The mall opened in 1972. In January 2008 the owners, the Cordano family and Sunrise Mall Associates, sold the mall to Steadfast Commercial Properties of Newport Beach.

This mall also has a discount movie theater where movies are only $3.00 Mon.-Thurs. and $3.50 Fri, Sat, Sun. United Artists Sunrise Mall 4 is owned by Regal Cinemas and you can also use your Regal Crown Card here for free popcorn on Tuesdays. This is probably the cheapest movie theater in Northern California.

Prior to being rebuilt (torn down and built anew) at the turn of the century, the theater hosted the Rocky Horror Picture Show with live shadowcast Under Sedation.
