At the base of Castle Rock Falls Located in Castle Rock State Park, Castle Rock Falls is a .8 mile hike from the main entrance parking lot. The waterfall itself is 60-80 feet tall and is fed by the headwaters of Kings Creek. It is most commonly viewed from its top where there is a viewing platform just off of the main trail. The platform is also the closest location from the parking lot that has a view, which is of Kings Canyon and a look down the San Lorenzo River watershed. Another common view from the platform is that of rock climbers climbing down the massive rock the deck is perched on so they can reach the base of the falls.
