Cabrillo College Watsonville Center, to  Merchant Street. In 2008 the city of Watsonville voted to make the south end of the street a pedestrian area to reduce traffic on the street. Merchant Street is now the only vehicle entrance to Trafton Street.

It was named for John Trafton who settled in the Pajaro Valley in 1856.  He was a farmer, merchant, and co-founder of the Pajaro Valley Bank. Trafton died in 1922.

Look north at the south end of Trafton Street.

Nearest bus stop is Main Street.
