Parkdale-High Park
As a Federal electoral district, this is a traditionally Liberal riding.
It includes million-dollar homes in Bloor West Village to apartment towers dotting Parkdale with newcomers and immigrants.
Peggy Nash, a former Canadian Auto Workers negotiator ran for the NDP and took the riding on her second try against three-term Liberal incumbent Sarmite Bulte in 2006.
Running for the Liberals is Gerard Kennedy, the former Ontario cabinet minister who held the riding provincially before resigning to run in the Liberal leadership race.
