Grafton Street consists of two very short east-west segments set almost half a mile apart from one another in north-central Woodland. Both segments are situated just south of Beamer Street and just north of Clover Street.

Grafton Street is probably not named for Sue Grafton, but if not, then it's a mystery who it's named for instead. It's also a mystery what happened to the rest of Grafton Street.

The western segment of Grafton Street is one block long and runs east-west to link Locust Street and Elm Street.

The north side of the western segment of Grafton Street has been planted with street trees by the city. The street trees include the invasive weed species Glossy Privet (Ligustrum lucidum) and two other non-native species: Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis) and Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica).

The eastern segment of Grafton Street is only slightly longer than the western segment. It runs east-west to link 4th Street and 5th Street. Halfway between the two, it intersects Victory Way, which heads south only from Grafton Street.
