MRS. GUTSHOW FUNERAL RITES

Margaret Leitz Gutshow, resident of Saranac Lake since 1916, died; at 1 p.m. yesterday at the home of her son, John, 71 Bloomingdale ave.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Fortune Funeral Chapel where the body is reposing. Rev. Sidney T. Ruck, of Lake Placid, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery. There will be an Eastern Star service at 8 o'clock tonight. Mrs. Gutshow was a member of both the Eastern Star and Amaranth. Pall bearers for tomorrow's service will be Edward Booth, George Booth, Arthur O. Buck, Fletcher Mace, William LaPan and Leon Kingman.

Mrs. Gutshow was born on July 26, 1875 in Germany. She came here in 1916 and that year established the Gutshow Cottage at 1 Pine st. For many years she operated the Pine st. cottage and another at 71 Bloomingdale ave. Eight years ago her son, John, remodeled the building on Bloomingdale ave., into apartments, but Mrs. Gutshow continued to operate the cottage on Pine St., until last November when she became ill.

Besides John, survivors include another son, Harry G. Gutshow, of Saranac Lake. There are one grandchild; two brothers, Emil Leite, of Glen Cove, L.I., and Edward, of Port Washington; a half-brother, Crist Gloecker, of Teaneck, N.J., and a half-sister, Mrs. Anna Lange, of Bergenfield, N.J.
