Dog Gone Alley is one of Woodland's many alleys and the somewhat less famous sibling of Dead Cat Alley. It runs parallel to Main Street and immediately south of Main Street, in the same central part of town where Dead Cat Alley runs parallel to Main Street and immediately north of Main Street.

Dog Gone Alley is less coherent than Dead Cat Alley, being broken up into various segments that don't quite fully connect. Its west end begins at Walnut Street and runs behind the State Theatre & Multiplex to Elm Street. It jogs slightly northeast at Elm Street and continues along the north edge of the public parking lot between there and College Street. It jogs slightly northeast again at College Street but stops short of 1st Street, making a right turn south to Bush Street. Dog Gone Alley picks up again at 1st Street (northeast of Bush Street), and continues to 2nd Street, where it jogs slightly southeast and continues along the north edge of another public parking lot. It jogs northeast again at 3rd Street before ending at 4th Street.

Doggeros Mex Urban Eats is located near and named for Dog Gone Alley.

The two public parking lots on Dog Gone Alley have been planted with trees by the city. The trees include two invasive weed species: Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) and Flowering Pear/Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana). They also include two species native to Woodland: Valley Oak (Quercus lobata) and California Bay Laurel (Umbellularia californica). Additionally, the Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) in the public parking lot area is native to Yolo County not far west of Woodland. Other non-native trees planted by the city in the public parking lots on Dog Gone Alley include Pecan (Carya illinoinensis), Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis), Chitalpa Trees (Chitalpa tashkentensis), Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica), Fruitless Mulberry (Morus alba), Chinese Pistache (Pistacia chinensis), Carolina Cherry Laurel (Prunus caroliniana), American Elm (Ulmus americana), and Saw-leaf Zelkova (Zelkova serrata).
